We have finally recovered from our excellent trip! Everything was wonderful and perfect!
Rouge on Rose was great and met all our needs. We especially loved that it was so close to Marcos, an African restaurant where we enjoyed good food and live music. The room was always spotless and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. We walked to the V&A waterfront and hiked Lions Head. Our guides were friendly and informative. We were unable to make it to the Seven Sisters winery because our guide said he couldn’t reach them so that was unfortunate but we enjoyed the experience overall.
Peermont Metcourt Suites was fine overall — we’re not casino people so didn’t make use of that but it was nice being so close to the airport and have free transportation. We loved our trip to the Apartheid museum and felt very safe in Johannesburg.
Kambaku was truly the highlight of our trip! We loved the lodge and all the staff there. The food was great and they accommodated Julie’s vegetarian needs well. Our safari guides were just the best and were so informative, funny, and just all around wonderful. We saw the Big 5 and so much more — hippos, hyenas, warthogs, giraffe, you name it. We even managed to have sunset drinks with elephants and hippos. It honestly was so perfect!
Thank you for planning such an amazing trip for us. We had the best time and will remember this forever. We will also recommend your services to friends/family.
