Wide variety of terrain, lofty mountains, dense rainforest, stark plains, soft-sand beaches and African wildlife.
KENYA WILDLIFE SAFARIS
A country that beckons with iconic sights, tribal cultures and natural wonders. Situated in East Africa with a coastline on the Indian Ocean, it encompasses savannah, lakelands, the dramatic Great Rift Valley, mountain highlands and abundant wildlife such as lions, elephants and rhinos. Visits to the Maasai Mara reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations, and Amboseli National Park, is a must, not to mention enjoying the views of Tanzania’s 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro.
BIRD WATCHING
The best time for bird watching is during the months of January and February where the weather is hot and dry and generally pleasant as the birds migrate to the lakes of the Rift Valley in large numbers.
WHEN TO TRAVEL
June to September is still dry with fewer tourists, therefore a great peaceful experience all round. The wet season is from March to May and October to December.
Between July, August and October, the annual wildebeest migration occurs in the Serengeti, where millions of wildebeest search for greener pastures.
