South Africa is home to many outdoor activities and is the ideal country to be adventurous in. A perfect example would be to start in Cape Town, explore the city’s history, nightlife, food scene and of course tourist spots, but for the adventurer in you, climb Lion’s Head (or for the really fit, climb the world famous Table Mountain), parasail over the white sand beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, explore wineries on horseback, or go deep sea fishing off along the coastline, or inland for some fly-fishing before you embark on your road trip along the famous Garden Route.

Spend the night in the whale watching town of Hermanus or Gansbaai in preparation for your Great White Shark cage encounter. The thrill and excitement of seeing sharks in their own habitat and surroundings is an experience like none other.

Once you on the road again, why not stop off at Bloukrans, the Highest Commercial Bungee Jump in the world before heading to the beautiful coastal town of Knysna. Knysna has become known for the many festivals it offers throughout the year such as the Oyster Festival. En route, you would have encountered many wonderful golf courses and estates but one you can’t go wrong at, is Fancourt. Each of Fancourt’s golf courses was designed by Gary Player and his dynamic team and offers a fusion of leisure and world-class golfing.

After a few days exploring, why not fly to Johannesburg from George and go on a South Afrrican safari before heading home.
