Sea and Safari
Enjoy the best of both worlds with a Sea and Safari experience in beautiful and majestic Southern and East Africa. The landscape, history, culture, white sand beaches and African safari, ensures a truly memorable holiday.
SOUTH AFRICA
Holidays in South Africa are a great way to get a taste of what Africa has to offer. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, take a short flight to a private game reserve or Kruger National Park and check into an African tented camp, self-catering facility or luxury lodge.
Explore the abundance of wildlife, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard), unique terrain and landscapes for a few days. Listen to lions roar at night, the hippo moans in the mornings and the lovely sounds of the birds singing, all whilst enjoying great cuisine and friendly hospitality.
After a few days of safari, guided, non-guided or self-drive, head back to OR Tambo for a flight to the scenic Cape Town. Once in Cape Town, the options are limitless, from historic architecture, modern and local cuisine, trendy bars and nightlife, climbing the famous Lion’s Head or indulging in the views from Table Mountain. Scenic drives along the coast past many Blue Flag beaches, stopping off at various museums, and viewing wildlife such as the African Penguin at Boulders Beach.
You can spend many days in Cape Town, action packed or relaxing, and once you have seen the sites, head to the majestic winelands. Day trips from Cape Town is a great option, or alternatively book into a modern, chic, or historic guest house, hotel, or lodge amongst the winelands. Savour delicious meals and of course tasting the many varieties of wines at each wine estate you encounter. There are hundreds of wine estates to choose from, from old rustic quaint wineries, to modern. The picturesque town of Stellenbosch is a must see, not to mention the famous Franschhoek. Smaller wine towns are also an option, a few inland and others coastal.

SOUTH AFRICA AND MOZAMBIQUE
With a quick flight across the border from South Africa (whether you explore South Africa or not) to one of Mozambique’s Airports, check into one of Mozambique’s holiday resorts and let the white sand beaches and clear waters welcome you. Swaying palm trees, colonial-style architecture and fun nightlife in its towns, Mozambique offers it all in a true African fashion.
Thanks to great visibility and warm currents, the Indian Ocean waters are perfect conditions for diving with manta rays and other marine life. If nature is your thing, then travel inland where you will find elephant, lion and birds galore.

NAMIBIA
Arrive in Namibia at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, travel by air or road to Etosha National Park and explore the African bush in a true Namibian manner. Game drives in the park can either be exclusive or scheduled with trackers and game rangers. Big game is in numbers and the incredible Cheetah is almost a confirmed sighting. Spend a few days in Etosha before heading to Swakopmund, a small coastal town with German colonial-era buildings.
Enroute from Windhoek to Swakopmund, you will encounter stretches of scenic varieties, from the high central plateau to the Namib plains. Once in Swakopmund, you would be greeted by the Atlantic Ocean and deep orange dunes. Swakopmund is the most popular holiday destination in Namibia and offers a variety of attractions to enjoy in the great climate including surfing, fishing, sun tanning and 4×4 dune riding – it’s the adventure sports capital of Namibia.
Tanzania
Fly into Dar Es Salaam, take a short flight to the small town of Arusha, spend the night and savour the African culture and landscape. Arusha is the gateway town to the world famous Mt. Kilimanjaro and many game reserves. After a nights rest, head off with a safari guide to explore the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Grumeti Reserves or one of the many others. Accommodation options vary from five star lodges (some which make you feel as if you just stepped out the famous novel, ’Out of Africa’ which was written in the 1930ies), traditional safari lodges, tented lodges and basic camping.
After your safari experience, take the short flight to the island of Zanzibar. Check into a resort with beautiful sea views, warm water and indulgent cocktails. Over the next few days, plan your stay on this tropical island with pristine beaches – decide from lounging around the pool to being active and exploring the various water activities on offer – snorkeling, diving, sunset cruises, to name a view. A stroll through the historic Stone Town is both interesting and historic. Beautiful stone buildings align the windy alleyways and a stop at the spice market is a must. Zanzibar was part of the trade route which dates back to the 16th century.
