Thank you for putting together a wonderful trip. Everything went as planned and all the drivers/guides were great.

Victoria Falls was beautiful.  It was a very long walk but well worth it.  The Boma Dinner and Drum Show was so fun.  I especially liked having lunch with the local lady and her daughter.  Had a very nice conversation about local life and she was more than happy to answer our questions. We learned a lot.  The Palm River Hotel was beautiful, and staff was very accommodating and helpful.  Food was A+ and we had an opportunity to have dinner at their sister hotel.  The sunset river cruise was a very relaxing time.  The village was very interesting too.

Muchenje Safari Lodge was excellent.  Very nice accommodations.  Food was excellent.  The same guide takes care of you during your visit.  They are very knowledgeable about the country and wildlife.  So many animals and took lots of pictures.  Food was excellent.

Kadizora Camp was great.  This camp was more rustic as it was large tents.  We were very comfortable and food was great.  More animals and more pictures.

Saguni Safari Lodge was also very nice.  Guide was great as was the food.

Everything went as planned and all connections were on time.  The guides/staff take very good care of you and get you where you need to be at the right time. I can honestly say that overall I have nothing negative to say about anything.  It was a great trip.

A few things I would do different if we did another trip.  Maybe spend a few more days in Victoria Falls and do two camp instead of three. Lip balm is essential as it is so dry. Also eyedrops and hiking boots or a good leather ankle boot.  My tennis shoes were comfortable for walking but sand sifted in.  Maybe a warmer jacket for the morning although they did supply blankets or ponchos so we were warm.

The people are very friendly and helpful.  They want tourists to come as it’s their livelihood.  We also met great people at each of the camps.

One negative – from the time we left the last camp to arriving at our home was 36 hours.  I think part of that was just because we were so tired at the end of the trip.  Overall the trip was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.  Johannesburg airport was less than helpful in trying to find Doug’s phone which he misplaced during the security checks. He got a new one when we got home and all his info/data was downloaded from the cloud so it was an easy process.

Thanks again for this wonderful trip.
